HighLevel's New Founder Plan, Explained
HighLevel's Founder Plan is the renamed $497/month Agency Pro plan. See what is included
Details below come from HighLevel's own pages, checked Oct 28, 2026.
HighLevel announced a "Founder Plan" around its LevelUp 2026 event, and the name has caused some confusion. Is it a new plan? Does it cost more? Do you need it?
Here is the short version, taken from HighLevel's own help center and plan pages.
The Founder Plan is the new name for the $497 per month Agency Pro plan. The price is the same. HighLevel says the plan keeps the Agency Pro features, includes everything in the $97 and $297 plans, and adds new tools and perks.
That is the whole headline. The rest of this post covers what you actually get, who it is for, how it differs from the other plans, and what HighLevel has not published yet.
What is the HighLevel Founder Plan?
According to HighLevel's help center, the Founder Plan is "the new name for the $497/month Agency Pro Plan." It is built for agencies, consultants, service providers, SaaS entrepreneurs and other business owners who help other businesses succeed.
Two details are worth knowing:
- It is open to new and existing customers. You can start on it at $497 per month.
- Existing Agency Pro customers move over automatically. HighLevel says no action is needed.
You may still see the old name in places. As of today, HighLevel's public pricing page still uses "Pro Plan" and "Agency Pro" in some of its text, so you may see both names for a while.
What is included
HighLevel lists these as Founder Plan features. Everything in the Unlimited plan carries over, plus:
- Unlimited sub-accounts and advanced API access
- SaaS Mode, which lets you sell HighLevel as your own software product with automatic account creation
- Rebilling with markup, so you can charge more than cost for usage like texts, calls, email and AI
- User reports, showing activity by team member
- HighLevel Industries, which switches on niche features such as restaurant or home services tools for a sub-account
- Custom navigation, custom onboarding, an A2P console and an Email Health Console for managing clients
- Workflow Maps, Project Management, Ticketing, Events, Meeting Rooms and Loyalty & Rewards
Availability matters here. HighLevel describes the plan as combining existing capabilities with "newly announced tools and upcoming features," and says benefits arrive "as they become available." Some of these tools are live, some are in Labs or beta, and HighLevel has not published a single date list for all of them. Check your own account before you count on a specific tool.
Perks that come with the plan
HighLevel also lists member perks: a Founders Club community, a dedicated Founder support tier, discounted event tickets, Founder meetups at its Dallas and Dubai offices, earnings from payments made through its native payment provider, an AdFuel program offering ads for your business in your local market, and eligibility for the HighLevel Partner Network.
Be careful with the wording. HighLevel says Founders will be "eligible" for several of these. For the payment earnings perk, AdFuel and the Founder support tier, HighLevel has not published rates, funding amounts, eligibility rules or extra costs. Treat them as announced, not guaranteed.
On AI, HighLevel says AI assistants are free on every plan, and the Founder Plan includes access to advanced AI models and the highest usage limits. One related detail: the $20 per month AI Employee Starter plan for sub-accounts is available only to agencies on the $497 Founder plan.

Who should pick which plan
Choose Starter ($97) if you run one business, you are a solo marketer, or you are a new agency with a few clients. Three sub-accounts is enough to run your own business and test the platform. Upgrading later is possible, and HighLevel says it prorates the difference if you upgrade mid-month.
Choose Unlimited ($297) if you are an agency with a growing client list and want unlimited sub-accounts and white-labeling. See our HighLevel pricing breakdown for more on this step.
Choose Founder ($497) if you want to sell HighLevel as your own software with SaaS Mode, mark up usage costs, or you want the Founder-only tools and perks. It also fits you if you plan to apply to the Partner Network.
If you are a business owner, not an agency, read HighLevel's own description closely. The Founder Plan is designed for people who help other businesses. If you only run your own business, Starter is the likelier fit, and the Founder Plan makes sense only if one of its exclusive tools solves a specific problem for you.

What HighLevel has not published
This is where a plain-English post earns its keep. As of Oct 28, 2026, these details are not published on HighLevel's official pages:
- A fixed end date for the Founder naming or plan. No promotion deadline is listed.
- Payment earnings rates and eligibility rules.
- AdFuel details, including how much advertising is funded and which channels are used.
- The price or inclusions of the Founder support tier.
- A date for every announced tool. HighLevel says some are still arriving.
One dated item exists: HighLevel says Partner Network matching is scheduled to begin Jan 1, 2027, with each business receiving five personalized partner recommendations. Network participation is optional, requires an active Founder subscription plus a qualification process, and has no separate membership fee. HighLevel is clear that being recommended does not guarantee a new client.
What to do first after you sign up
- Confirm your plan. Go to Settings, then Billing, and check which plan is active and whether you chose monthly or annual billing.
- Learn the billing basics. Subscriptions cover the platform. Phone, text, email and AI usage are separate and run through your agency wallet. Decide now whether you will rebill clients.
- Set up your branding and domain. Add your logo and a custom domain so clients see your brand.
- Look at what is switched on. Open Labs and your agency settings to see which Founder tools are live in your account.
- If you will text clients, start your A2P registration early, since carrier approval takes time. The A2P console is built for managing this across sub-accounts.
- Build one sub-account properly before you build ten. Load a snapshot, test your workflows, then copy what works. Our getting started guide covers this.
Start the free extended trial
You can test HighLevel before you pay. Start the free extended trial here, or read our trial page first to pick a plan. HighLevel's public pricing page shows a 14-day free trial, and the free extended trial is longer. Billing begins automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel, and usage-based fees for things like texts and calls can apply during the trial.
