What you get with the free extended trial
- A free trial that is longer than the standard one. HighLevel's public pricing page shows a 14-day free trial on each plan. The free extended trial is longer.
- Signup happens on HighLevel's own site. You choose your plan and finish registration there.
- Billing begins automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel. HighLevel's pricing page also says usage-based fees for things like texts and calls can apply during the trial.
Pick your plan
HighLevel's pricing page lists three plans. Phone, text, email and AI usage are billed separately on every plan.
| Starter | Unlimited | Founder ($497 tier) | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Monthly price | $97 | $297 | $497 |
| Annual price | $970 | $2,970 | $4,970 |
| Sub-accounts | 3 | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Contacts and users | Unlimited | Unlimited | Unlimited |
| Phone and email rebilling | Not listed | At cost, no markup | With markup |
| API access | Not listed | Basic | Advanced |
| SaaS Mode | Not listed | Not listed | Included |
HighLevel's pricing page still labels the $497 tier "Pro" in some places, while its help center calls it the Founder plan. They are the same plan. See HighLevel's New Founder Plan, Explained for the details.
Which plan fits you
I run one business and want to use HighLevel for myself. Start with Starter ($97). You get unlimited contacts and users, and three sub-accounts is plenty for your own business plus a test. You can upgrade later, and HighLevel says it charges only the prorated difference if you upgrade mid-month.
I am a freelancer or a new agency with a few clients. Start with Starter ($97) while you build your first client accounts. Move to Unlimited when you need more than three sub-accounts.
I run a growing agency. Choose Unlimited ($297). You get unlimited sub-accounts, so adding a client does not change your software bill, and you can rebill phone and email at cost.
I want to sell HighLevel as my own software, or mark up usage. Choose Founder ($497). It adds SaaS Mode, rebilling with markup, advanced API access and the other Founder tools. Read the Founder plan guide first, since HighLevel says some announced tools are still arriving.
I am not sure. Start on Starter or Unlimited. You can change plans later, and the pricing guide walks through the trade-offs.

FAQ
Is the trial really free? HighLevel's pricing page shows a free trial on each plan. It says billing begins automatically at the end of any free trial unless you cancel, and usage-based fees for texts, calls and similar services can apply during the trial.
How long is the extended trial? It is longer than the standard 14-day trial shown on HighLevel's pricing page. Check the HighLevel signup page you land on for the current terms.
Which plan should I pick if I am not an agency? Starter ($97) is the usual fit for a single business. The Unlimited and Founder plans are built mainly for people who manage accounts for other businesses.
Can I change plans later? Yes. HighLevel says you can upgrade from Starter to Unlimited or the $497 plan, and that an upgrade mid-month is charged as the prorated difference. You can also downgrade, though you lose access to features that are exclusive to the higher plan.
Do I need to be technical? HighLevel says no, and provides support, pre-built templates and a large user community. You will still spend time setting things up, so start with one small project.
Does HighLevel guarantee results? No. HighLevel's own pages say nothing on them is a promise of earnings, cost savings or business results, and results vary with how you set things up.
